About This Guide
About the San Andres Noble House guide: an independent, non-commercial travel resource for San Andres island. We are not a hotel and take no bookings.
San Andres Noble House is an independent travel guide to San Andres island, Colombia. Its purpose is simple: to help visitors experience the real island - its reef, its cays, its food and its Raizal culture - thoughtfully and well.
What this site is
These pages are an independent, non-commercial resource written for travellers and divers. We share practical, honest information about diving, the boat trips to the cays, where to eat, when to visit and how to travel responsibly on a small and fragile island. Everything here is offered freely to help you plan a better trip.
What this site is not
We want to be completely clear: this is not a hotel, dive shop, tour operator or booking service, and we are not affiliated with any accommodation provider on the island. We do not take reservations, sell tours, or handle payments of any kind. Where our pages mention places to stay, eat, dive or take a boat, those are independent suggestions - please arrange and pay for any stay, dive or excursion directly with the local businesses themselves or through the usual travel booking platforms.
If you are trying to book a specific hotel or dive centre you found elsewhere, contact that business directly; we are not able to help with bookings, cancellations or payments, and we do not represent any of them.
Supporting the island
San Andres is a UNESCO Seaflower Biosphere Reserve and the home of the Raizal people, and it is under real pressure from over-tourism, scarce fresh water and a delicate reef. Throughout this guide we encourage the same things: choose native-owned businesses, respect the reserve's rules, refuse single-use plastic, use reef-safe sunscreen, and travel with curiosity and care. Good tourism can help the island; careless tourism harms it. You can learn more about the reserve from UNESCO and about the destination from Colombia's official tourism board.
